About Lawton, Oklahoma


Lawton, OK is a beautiful city in Southwest Oklahoma adjacent to Fort Sill Army Post.  The population from the 2000 census was 92,757.  To the north and west of Lawton is the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, which is one of the oldest wildlife reserves in the U.S.  with one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world dating back 500 million years.  More information about the City of Lawton can be found on the “About” page at the City of Lawton Website.
